How can we best describe a trip to Casa Bernabé? Every trip is different. Our projects are continually changing. What we can tell you, is that it will amazing, difficult, physically challenging, enlightening, exhausting, renewing, happy, sad, eye opening and rewarding. Lives will be changed in both those who served and those that were served. The memorable moments will be vast, deep and wide.
Are you ready to answer the call?
Bring a team
Your Casa Bernabé experience will begin before you ever leave the United States as we begin to prepare you for your visit. Through our education and orientation materials, we want you to be ready to serve when you arrive on our campus. We know that international travel can be intimidating and we are seeking to ease these fears, as well as prepare you to interact with our staff and Casa Bernabé families, in a safe and healthy manner. Our children have come to us out of traumatic situations and our top priority is protecting them.
Team trips are typically a week long, and we can host teams of up to 40 people. You will stay on site in our dormitories and all of your meals will be provided.
We will work with you to plan work projects and/or coordinate activities for our children so that we are properly prepared for your visit.
We welcome medical teams that would like to serve our children and the community in our clinic.
Serve long term
Are you being called to the mission field? We would love to chat with you about this opportunity to serve cross culturally. Through extensive field prep prior to your time at Casa Bernabé, you will be well trained and prepared for this life-changing experience.
We are currently seeking someone to fill a spot on our Missionary Care Team at Casa Bernabé! Could it be you? If you have ever felt your heart being pulled in the direction of our ministry in Guatemala now is your chance to explore that calling.
