Meet the Team: Peyton

This week's featured staff member, is none other than Peyton Tolley, our onsite missions coordinator! If you've visited Casa Bernabé in the last few years, you know her, and for the rest of our readers, meet Peyton.

1. What is your role at CB?

Onsite missions coordinator - liaison between teams and the staff/children at Casa Bernabé

2. How long have you served at CB?

It will be three years in May.

3. What made you want to work here/why do you serve at CB?

I came to Casa Bernabé when I was 14 and continued to visit every year along with my family. I felt called to Guatemala for a while and always had Casa Bernabé in my heart. As soon as I knew this position was open leading up to college graduation, I knew I wanted to serve in the place the Lord had placed on my heart for so long.

4. Tell us a little bit about yourself - what are your interests, about your family, etc.

I majored in Art Education in college, so I love art and getting to be creative. I also love to travel and try new things, but I also really love being comfortable and my 20 step skin care routine. I love meeting new people and joking around, even though my dry humor is sometimes hard to decipher. I’m blessed with an amazing family who supports me through it all, and my daily FaceTime calls with them is what keeps me going!

5. What’s your favorite thing about serving at CB?

The kids!!!! Becoming fluent in Spanish has allowed me to get to know them on a much more personal level. I love their humor and getting to be a part of their lives. Obviously, my role here is serving the teams and missionaries who visit, which I love so much. But at the end of the day, these insanely special kids are a huge motivation for me, and so many other people who visit and serve here. I get teary eyed thinking about them!!!

6. How can we pray for you?

Prayers for future plans would be greatly appreciated! Trying to be obedient to the Lord and what He wants for me in these next steps, but trying to not let anxiety get in the way is easier said than done.

We're so thankful for Peyton and the invaluable role she plays on our campus. And if you've been enjoying these newsletters so far in 2025, much of it is owing to Peyton providing us with amazing updates, photos, and ideas. Her creativity is a blessing to the whole Casa Bernabé and Friends of Children Everywhere family.
