Double Your Donation

For the next 6 weeks, any donation you make to our COVID-19 Relief fund, up to $50,000, will be doubled by a very generous private matching grant. With an inability to host short-term missions teams due to a COVID-19 travel ban, we are preparing for what the summer, and potentially the remainder of the year, would look like as the travel ban continues. Financially, this could mean potential $100,000 plus losses in donations that help meet our general fund needs. These are the funds that keep Casa Bernabe running day to day, feeding our children, paying our house parents, our kitchen staff, our psychologists, paying for propane, electricity, and cleaning supplies. These are the foundational dollars that our ministry is built off of.

In Guatemala, as with the rest of the world, the COVID-19 situation is fluid, changing rapidly, and leaving a trail of uncertainty in its wake. There is a new dynamic within the walls of Casa Bernabé as we are working non-stop, with less hands than before, to care for kids, support our on-site staff, and keep our full team intact in the process. We recognize that these days are fraught with uncertainty for all of us and we know that trusting God can be hard. We are so grateful that as we go through this, we have our greater, global, Casa Bernabé community.
