Casa Promesa
To be fully funded monthly, each of our houses needs one house sponsor ($2,000) and twelve child and family sponsors ($120 each). Casa Promesa’s House Sponsor is UPANA. To see how close Casa Promesa is to reaching full funding from child and family sponsors, check the progress bar below.
Casa Promesa house parents, Leonel and Meylin have served as house parents since 2017 and work alongside house helper Ana Rebecca. They have two daughters who share their parents with a group of 10 other girls. The girls at Promesa like to play board games and soccer. When taking a break from school work and vocational classes, the older girls love watching tv series, and have been loving Korean and Turkish Dramas on Netflix. The younger girls, when finished with their chores, can be found playing on the trampoline and playground. The older girls are amazing examples for the younger ones, and have had plenty experience taking care of the little ones. With the busy schedule during the week, Leonel and Meylin take advantage of down time to spend quality time with the girls, and join them in all of their hobbies and interests. They enjoy spending time together as a family and do an amazing job cultivating a true family dynamic.
We asked Leonel and Meylin what, to them, made Casa Bernabé so special. This was their response, “We know that Casa Bernabé is a ministry loved by God. And in this time, that has been so difficult for all of humanity, we have realized even more of the Lord’s love and faithfulness to all of us, his children. It is our privilege to serve here.”
