Casa Ester
To be fully funded monthly, each of our houses needs one house sponsor ($2,000) and twelve child and family sponsors ($120 each). The Casa Ester family includes the house parents, Danny and Nancy, their two daughters, the new house helper, Monica, and her daughter. Together, they care for a total of eight girls. Casa Ester loves all things fun, and recently got a projector so they can watch movies on the wall in their living room. They've been having weekly movie nights that include lots of snacks.
Another fun activity the whole family loves is going on walks together. They repaired three bicycles that had been broken so the younger girls can ride along with their walks. The whole family also looks forward to Tony's weekly visit and a competitive game of 3-13.
After school they take turns doing homework and helping out with some of the household chores. When the work is done, the younger girls can almost always be found outside jumping on the trampoline.
Nancy and Danny frequently lead worship in church, and some of the girls have started singing and dancing as part of the worship team. It's beautiful to see the whole family leading the rest of Casa Bernabé in worship together.
